During our visit to various interesting destinations through the Akureyri area we will meet enthusiastic local food producers, farmers, fishermen and brewers where they will share their gastronomic knowledge with you and we can taste the products.

Sample as you go mouth-watering local treats sourced especially for you and additionally, depending on season, you will be involved in collecting the raw materials.

Collect blue-mussels

We will sail to the island of Hrísey and on the way collect blue-mussels that will later be our lunch. During our tour we will also enjoy some salt-fish "Bacalao", several types of beer, beef "Carpaccio", smoked leg of lamb, fruit jam and ice-cream with north Icelandic taste.

And all these delicates is local from the Akureyri area.
